not really. you will have a hard time finding a buyer.and when you do they wont pay much for it maybe 100 gold if you are lucky

a 3/1 will get you a nice health gain, but a 2/1 will do little more than break even.

Correct 3/1 is the first Vampiric upgrade that actually can net you a health gain while attacking with the negative applied to your health. 2/1 actually barely breaks even so its pretty much worthless. Like I said you might find someone that will pay 100 gold if you do jump at it as you will only get 50 gold on average. 25 gold from NPC merchant.

Vampirics don't really give much of a health gain unless coupled with other skills. Their real benefit is that they deal +1/+2/+3 damage per hit, ignoring armor.

That said, +2 is going to end up chewing at your health, and non-perfects are worth very little. I've been throwing +2 vampirics at the merchants with no regrets.

Your assumption based on a 3:1 being 30-40k meaning your 2:1 should be worth more than 100 is incorrect.

The reason the 2:1 is really not worth anything is that you will never find a buyer for it. You are not getting decent bonus with that mod.
